Capitol Expressway Light Rail Project
Extend VTA Light Rail from South of Alum Rock Station to Eastridge Bus Station, approximately 2.4 miles. Project includes cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete aerial guideway structure in median of Capitol Expressway, construction of 2 stations, a pedestrian overcrossing at Story Station, a soundwall structure, and cast-in-place concrete retaining walls. MCM Construction, Inc. and RailWorks Track Services, LLC are in a joint venture, MCM-RailWorks, JV., as the prime contractor on this project.
